VAIKHARI 2023

     The Women's Day celebration at our college,"Vaikhari 2023," was a vibrant and empowering event organized by the College Union Chirath 2023. The programme aimed to honor and celebrate the achievements of women in all walks of life and also to raise awareness about women's rights and issues in society. The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Vani V. She is not only a social activist but also a natural eco-entrepreneur and the recipient of the State Young Women Farmer Award in 2019. Her presence added significant value to the celebration.



    There was also a symposium where juniors and seniors spoke about women's rights, women related issues and concerns and then a Women's Day-themed dance. Students were also dressed as women from different arenas of life like cricketer, mother, teacher, athlete, police women, cook, doctor, miss india , soldier etc.

    There was also a Women's Day rally to the Kayamkulam KSRTC Bus Station where we also did a flash mob and a skit capturing the attention of onlookers and spreading the spirit of Women's Day.

            It was my last week of teaching practice.           The students surprised me with chocolates and letters as a gesture of love and gratitude. In return, I distributed sweets to them as a small token of my gratitude.           The farewell was filled with warm wishes and heartfelt goodbyes. Seeing the students' smiles and feeling their affection made the conclusion of this practice both memorable and emotional. It was a beautiful way to end this chapter, with moments that I will cherish for a long time.           I did not just teach my students; they taught me many things too.  I learned to be patient. I saw how a simple “Good" or “Well done” could make my students so happy and confident. I learned how to explain things different ways that all my students could understand.
