A donation drive by KANIV 2023

 


    The Social Club of our college did a very meaningful program "Kanivu" on the 15th of June 2023. We collected clothes from our house, from neighbours and relatives' houses. The aim of the programme was to gather clothes that were no longer in use and to donate and bring joy to those in need. The collected clothes and gifts for children were then donated to the inmates of Gandhibhavan.

    A money box was also placed in college, encouraging students and teachers to deposit small amounts of money at the end of every month so that we can financially help the needy. The students took the initiative to cook food at home, each one contributing one 'pothichoru'. These homemade meals were then thoughtfully packed and distributed to those in need within the premises of Kayamkulam. This was a sincere attempt from our side to bring comfort and warmth to these people.

            It was my last week of teaching practice.           The students surprised me with chocolates and letters as a gesture of love and gratitude. In return, I distributed sweets to them as a small token of my gratitude.           The farewell was filled with warm wishes and heartfelt goodbyes. Seeing the students' smiles and feeling their affection made the conclusion of this practice both memorable and emotional.
