WEEK TEN OF TEACHING PRACTICE

This was my last week of teaching practice (Phase 1). The Christmas exams were going on this week and I had my usual exam duties. Each day, I explained the exam rules to the students, told them to stay quiet, and warned them not to cheat. I would also remind them of the time left in writing the exam.

On Tuesday, my teacher-in-charge in the school asked me to write the marks of last year's SSLC students in a record. I had to calculate and convert their marks into grade points and finished that by the afternoon. I also had to help her enter student data in Kite Samagra. Teachers have many tasks other than teaching. Teachers need to multitask and have many skills.

Thursday was the last day of the Christmas exams and my last day of teaching practice. I thought about all I had learned and how much I had grown as a teacher. In the afternoon, my fellow trainee and I met the headmistress and other staff to thank them for their support. We gave sweets to students and staff and took photos with them.

As I left the school, I felt emotional. My mind was full of memories and lessons. My students' love and support made this journey unforgettable, and I know it will help me in my future as a teacher.
