LITHI- CAMP DAY 1
Today was the first day of our community living camp, LITHI, and it was super fun! The theme of our camp is "Culture, Health, and Nature." The camp started with an inaugural session at 10 a.m. Sri Shajeem M.S Sir who is an educator, singer, mimicry artist, actor, and NSS program officer, inaugurated the camp. After his opening speech, he led an interactive session. It was lively and fun, and everyone enjoyed it.
After lunch, we had 'Kelisangamam' of cultural programs where students and teachers performed. The performances were excellent and well-organized. In the afternoon, we had a lotion-making session as part of our socially useful productive work. We worked in groups, and the teachers showed us how to make lotions. It was a fun and practical activity.
The evening session started at 6 p.m. and was called 'Thudi muzhakkam', led by Sri Punnapra Jyothikumar Sir. He told stories, sang folk songs and interacted with us and gave us the energy and motivation to keep going for the rest of the camp.
After dinner, we had more cultural programs based on the theme of culture.
The performances were amazing and everyone enjoyed them. By 11 p.m., we went to bed, feeling happy and satisfied with the day's events. It was a great start to our camp.
