LITHI- CAMP DAY 3
Day 3 of our Community Living Camp was dedicated to Social Service theme and was titled as 'Sparsham'. The morning started with a warming-up exercise, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. Afterward, we all traveled to Kayamkulam bus stand to visit the Pathanapuram Gandhi Bhavan, an organization dedicated to the care and welfare of destitute people, regardless of caste, gender, age, health condition, or religion.
We conducted a small programme to entertain the inmates, bringing smiles to their faces with our performances. Additionally, we presented a small donation from our college to support their noble cause.
In the evening, we participated in a cooking class in the college compound , led by Sri Agarth Khan and Sri Ameen, chefs from Thaza Hotel, Kayamkulam. Under their guidance, we prepared Khabsa along with side dishes. The experience of cooking together was enjoyable, and the food was delicious.
After dinner, we had cultural programmes centered around the theme of Social Service. The students presented a wide variety of performances, showcasing their creativity and dedication to the theme. The students and teachers then sat around a fire, chatting and dancing for sometime.
By 11:30 p.m., we finally went to bed. The theme of Sparsham truly came to life today.
