SECOND PHASE OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP BEGINS.

This week marked the beginning of my second phase of school internship at P K K H S S, Kayamkulam. I was assigned in Class 9 B, whom I taught in Class 8 during my first phase of school internship. They were really happy to see me back and were full of energy. On the first day, I didn't teach, instead I talked to students about how their vacations went and did a word game activity too.  From the second day onwards, I began to teach. It was a short story titled ' Half A Day' and dealt with a boy going to school for the first time in his life. I asked the students to recollect their first- day- in-school memories and slowly led them to the lesson. I made the class as active and interactive as possible. In the afternoon, my co-teacher trainee and me distributed mid-day meals to students.
