SECOND PHASE OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP BEGINS.

 

This week marked the beginning of my second phase of school internship at P K K H S S, Kayamkulam. I was assigned in Class 9 B, whom I taught in Class 8 during my first phase of school internship. They were really happy to see me back and were full of energy. On the first day, I didn't teach, instead I talked to students about how their vacations went and did a word game activity too. 




From the second day onwards, I began to teach. It was a short story titled ' Half A Day' and dealt with a boy going to school for the first time in his life. I asked the students to recollect their first- day- in-school memories and slowly led them to the lesson. I made the class as active and interactive as possible. In the afternoon, my co-teacher trainee and me distributed mid-day meals to students.

            It was my last week of teaching practice.           The students surprised me with chocolates and letters as a gesture of love and gratitude. In return, I distributed sweets to them as a small token of my gratitude.           The farewell was filled with warm wishes and heartfelt goodbyes. Seeing the students' smiles and feeling their affection made the conclusion of this practice both memorable and emotional. It was a beautiful way to end this chapter, with moments that I will cherish for a long time.           I did not just teach my students; they taught me many things too.  I learned to be patient.
